Akasa Air launched its first commercial flight on August 7, 2022, to support the growing demand across India with the greenest and youngest fleet in the country. Today, Akasa Air is India’s fastest-growing and most dependable airline, and on our course to become one of the top 30 airlines globally by the turn of the decade. Akasa Air has served over 18 million passengers, connecting 23 domestic and five international cities. Akasa Air commenced our international operations in March 2024 with Doha (Qatar) achieving the milestone of becoming the first Indian carrier to fly overseas in just 19 months since its inception. Society International was appointed as the General Sales Agent (GSA) for Akasa Air, commencing their partnership in 2021.
